“CROW ON A BINARY FIELD”

This large abstracted crow is very imposing on the colored background. A binary array (I spent years as a programmer/analyst) fills the background – on and off bits peek through the color field. For now I classify it as an abstract, but will eventually move it into the “Birds & Nests” category. January 2017 it received FIRST PLACE in the TESA (The Exhibiting Society of Artists) exhibition at the Carrollowod Cultural Center in Tampa, FL. It was recently on exhibit at TECO Public Art Gallery in Tampa, FL March-April, 2018 in my solo show “FOR THE BIRDS”. Collection of the Artist.
