Description of DRYING OUT

An Anihinga, commonly called a Snake Bird or Cormorant, stands on a swamp stump drying out his wings. Once dry and buoyant again, he’ll be back under the water fishing. The handsome gold wood frame has wear on the bottom edge, but adds to the overall patina. It was recently on exhibit at TECO Public Art Gallery in Tampa, FL March-April, 2018 in my solo show “FOR THE BIRDS”. It is in a private collection.
