HERON’S NEST

SOLD. FIRST PLACE AWARD in ACRYLICS at Old Hyde Park Art Gallery in Tampa, FL. This painting won 2nd Place at Suntan Art Gallery in Pass-a-Grille, FL in the January Member Show.
The Great Blue Heron is a majestic bird. They are long-legged wading birds who build nests in heron rookeries close to the water with their partner for the year. Some return to the same nest year after year. It is currently on exhibit at TECO Public Art Gallery in downtown Tampa, FL through April 30, 2018.
