“MOUNTAIN RAPTURE”

“MOUNTAIN RAPTURE”  36″X48″  depicts a typical glorious view of the Western Carolina mountains. Mountaintops recede into the distance in ever-paler combinations and mix with the clouds. Granite bluffs jut out here and there and make for stunning vistas. A large bear stands on an outcrop and seems to be contemplating the scene.  *Currently on display in the gallery at the Presbyterian Church in Highlands, NC until December 2025.
