“LITTLE RED LEAVES”

One day I parked by this stand of trees. When I returned to my car and looked up, I saw this amazing blue sky behind the tall trees with bright white clouds moving by briskly.  The trees seem to reach the sky. A vine tendril with a few remaining red leaves hangs from a tree. This was such a strong image to me that I have returned to my photos often and have painted versions of this scene several times.  It was included in my Solo Exhibit “Adios 2020!” at Carrollwood Cultural Center in Tampa, FL and was the viewers’ choice.
