“LOVE IS BLUE”

“LOVE IS BLUE” was a favorite instrumental of mine when it was introduced. Today, painting from the title, I think of the “blue-er” aspects of love – loneliness, betrayal, heartbreak, sadness, longing and such. Using only blues and tiny bits of color, I tried to convey those feelings. It is part of a series “Sounds of the Sixties” which is an Solo Exhibition of 22 large abstracts at Galleria Misto at Mahaffey Theater, Duke Energy Center for the Arts in St. Petersburg, FL Nov 2019  – Feb. 2020.   Available through the artist.   (S0710)
