“ODE TO JOAN – GRANDE CARRIERES”

“ODE TO JOAN – GRANDE CARRIERES” was painted for an exhibition entitled “GREAT ARTISTS STEAL” for which the artist was to do work like their favorite artist. One of my most favorite is Joan Mitchell. I am a big fan of her large bold dramatic abstracts. This painting of mine is after one of a large series of paintings she completed when she lived in France.
