Saltwater Cures Everything

This is the first painting in a new series “Quotables”. “Saltwater Cures Everything” was the life mantra of a much-loved local community person who loved everything about the coast and recently died too young. As I thought of his saying I envisioned the sea with the suggestion of a tiny island at the horizon. This is a 40″x40″ is dominated by the blues and greens of the offshore waters and an aspirational sunset at the high horizon.   (Q0114)
