“SUMMER IN THE CITY”

“SUMMER IN THE CITY”  1 & 2.  This is a crisp and sizzling abstract diptych 36″x72″. Each panel is 36″x36″ and they can be separated. Its colors remind me of the lyrics “Hot town, summer in the city. Back of my neck gettin’ dirty and gritty”. The hot yellows, reds and orange, the black and grey of smoldering embers speak to me of fire, urban summer heat, and sizzling temperatures. Not a quiet piece, this one demands attention. – Sep 1, 2025, this piece is in Cincinnati in the Art Comes Alive exhibition.
