Took in two Gallery openings this night. Smart and talented Michelle Tuegel opened her gallery this evening on Central Ave in St. Petersburg, FL for Holiday shopping. It’s just about time. Sorting through and packing up to transition back to Florida. Will miss the mountains, the colors, the friends and the art community. But, looking forward to the sea, the salt air, and FL friends and art activities. It’s all good.

The Art League of Highlands-Cashiers presents their annual “Fall Colors” show in Highlands, NC at the Recreation Center. The “LEAF FESTIVAL” is a huge 3 day outdoor art festival held annually in Cashiers, NC. It is a huge event with 25,000 visitors or more. Oh my gosh, it has been exciting and busy. Lots of painting and two weekend outdoor tent shows back to back. Next weekend is 1st Saturday and we will set up for Art on Main to benefit the Uptown Gallery. After that, there will be several weeks of rest from shows. Time to paint some… read more

Next weekend will be the Rotary Sponsored Fine Arts & Crafts Show in Cashiers, NC. They sponsor one in the Spring and Fall. The last one was a great success and I look forward to participating in this one, too.

This weekend is the ever-popular “Village Square Art Show” in Highlands, NC. It is held at the Hutchinson Park and this year is combined with a park dedication and a 5K race. Great crowd, great weather (the expected rain never materialized), great entertainment and sales.
