“SECRET GARDEN”

“SECRET GARDEN” – A garden tour last week in this mountain town filled me with inspiration. I was able to see a  half dozen venues of extraordinarily beautiful homes and, most particularly, their spectacular backyard gardens. This time of year so many of the plants are at their zenith of lushness and beauty. This painting was the result of my rememberance of these gardens while I was painting. Soft greens, pinks, spots of red, soft blues, mauve, and ochers – my beautiful memory.
